Yokohama DeNA Baystars Part 1 Backpackers, Hostel, Tokyo, International Exchange

Hello everyone !

This is Tada from Sakura Hostel Asakusa.

I've been to the yokohama stadium for enjoy the Japanese baseball game !

Went to the Yokohama DeNA Baystars vs Yomiuri Giants

game was pretty impressed with the venue.

I attended a Baystars game at yokohama stadium in Kanagawa prefecture.
The tickets were a reasonable price and the atmosphere was great.

001.JPG

I've been to a number of baseball stadiums and yokohama stadium is my favorite.
It's a great experience for someone who has never been to a baseball game before.

002.JPG

There is no better way to spend a few hours than at a baseball game.
The Baystars are doing good there is no better place to watch them than at yokohama stadium.

003.JPG

It's even more enjoyable lately since the Baystars have been winning !
The stadium itself is just breath taking.

004.JPG

This is my favorite stadium regardless if the Baystars are winning or not.
All of the various different foods available make for a brilliant day out.

005.JPG

There is plenty of places to get food and it's pretty easy to find your way around and find your seats.
Good selection of food and the seats all had good views of the stadium.

If you're thinking of catching a baseball game, I'd highly recommend doing it at yokohama stadium.
If you come to Tokyo, you have to come here !

Keep your glove ready !

Hiya!

Have you ever visited Kyoto?

Kyoto is the city where is formerly as Japan's capital more than thousand year,

and is nowadays known as one of the most famous place for sightseeing in Japan

since countless historically temples and shrines are being preserved.

Not only in Tokyo or somewhere, dropping in there is highly recommended when staying Japan.

Kyoto is very popular place even for Japanese, not only for foreiners.

And yeah, me Tokyoite also like Kyoto very much

since there're loads of places to see, where Tokyo doesn't have.

So, be introduced some recommended places in Kyoto I've visited.

IMG_20170622_164914.jpg

This is the place you prob know, "Fushimi Inari" shrine,

one of the most popular (or could be the most popular) sightseeing place in Japan.

DSC_1314.jpg

This is "Giou-ji" temple,

located in Arashiyama area, but far from main area keeps very quiet and calm.

And this the "The window of enlightment" of "Genko-an", temple

located in Takagamine, also a bit far from city centre but very quiet.

Brilliant, aren't they? :D

These are only part of Kyoto since there're tons of temple and shrines,

and I still have loads of places I'd like to visit and haven't yet.

So you'd be able to find your favorite places in there :)

And please be informed Sakura House Kyoto, traditional and luxury "machiya" house

can accommodate you when in kyoto.

Bouldering

Posted by: Yuki
(May 7, 2019 5:10 AM)

Hello. This is Yuki.
Have you ever tried bouldering?

It's getting famous in Japan these days.
Also, Tokyo olympic will be held in 2020, and bouldering is one of the event.
I started bouldrering a few years ago.
Fisttime, I couldn't climb at all, but I practiced a lot and now I can climb V4 to V5 rocks.
You cannot plactice?so often because of losing power to hold rocks.
If it worse, your hands skin might peel off.
Therefore, you should not practice hard.
Moreover, some peple break their legs, so you have to pay attention for some situations.

Once you practice bouldering at gym, I am sure that you are into bouldering.
After you get used to climb with V3 level, I'll be able to climb natural rocks.
There are no tapes on the rocks, so you have to think how you climb the rocks. You can enjoy it for sure.

I climed these rocks when I was in Santa Barbara.
It was first time to climb natural rocks, but it was so fun.
I don't have a lot of experiences that climbing natural rocks, so I want to try it again.

Please tell me if you know good places to go.

Thanks,
