Hello there.

DSC_0370.jpg

This time, I'm gonna write about "Kabukiza"

It's very popular for sightseeing!!

Please check it out!!

Kabuki is a traditional Japanese theater form, which is listed as part of UNESCO's?Intangible?Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Kabuki originated in the 17th century, within the Edo period when a woman called "Okuni of Izumo" performed a Buddhist dance in Kyoto. Originally, both men and women acted in Kabuki. However, because of the?prevailing?moral order, eventually only male actors were allowed to perform the plays. So these days women's roles are played by male actors, called onnagata. Other major male roles are played in a rough style, known as aragoto, or a soft style, wagoto, among other ways.

Hello. This is Yuki from Sakura Hostel Asakusa.

Have you been to Miyakojima?
If you haven't, the please is going to be on your bucket list.

Miyakojima is located about 300 kilometers southeast of mainland Okinawa.
It takes about 3 hours from Haneda Airport.

You can relax on the several beaches and have traditional cuisine.
Once you land on the island, you never want to leave the place.

I put some pictures.

Osaka, filled in loads of wonderful local foods

Posted by: Aki
(August 26, 2019 5:51 AM)

Hi ya :)

Have you ever been to Osaka?

Well, I sometimes visit the second largest city in japan, to enjoy the local foods :D

DSC_0439.jpg

So this time, follow the introductions of Osakan yummy foods

that you should not miss out.

1) you know this is the typically one,

"Takoyaki", everyone's favourite can be seen in loads of places on the streets in Osaka.

DSC_0436.jpg

Tried the one near Namba serves original, soy sauce, salt and ponzu sauce flavours.

2) "Okonomiyaki", another your favourite you can not ignore if you stay in Osaka.

But also recommend you to try "Negiyaki"(right one in the pic below)

which is similar to Okonomiyaki but uses long green onions instead of cabbage.

DSC_0437.jpg

3) And remember the locals in Osaka love "Udon"

You can choose the basic dish and toppings like several kinds of Tempura,as you like.

DSC_0440.jpg

I chose this, "Bukkake" udon with beef and tempuras of egg and fish sausage.

Actually you'd be able to try Osakan foods in Tokyo area

by going their branches here,

but in my opinion,

something seems a bit diffrent from the ones in Osaka.

Dunno why, though.

So try and see whether if this is correct or not.

See ya!

Chiba Lotte Marines Part 2 Backpackers, Hostel, Tokyo, International Exchange

(August 24, 2019 1:00 AM)

Hello everyone !

This is Tada from Sakura Hostel Asakusa.

I've been to the chiba marine stadium for enjoy the Japanese baseball game !

Went to the Chiba Lotte Marines vs Fukuoka Softbank Hawks

game was pretty impressed with the venue.

I attended a Marines game at chiba marine stadium in Chiba prefecture.
The tickets were a reasonable price and the atmosphere was great.

21.JPG

I've been to a number of baseball stadiums and chiba marine stadium is my favorite.
It's a great experience for someone who has never been to a baseball game before.

22.JPG

There is no better way to spend a few hours than at a baseball game.
The Marines are doing good there is no better place to watch them than at chiba marine stadium.

23.JPG

It's even more enjoyable lately since the Marines have been winning !
The stadium itself is just breath taking.

24.JPG

This is my favorite stadium regardless if the Marines are winning or not.
All of the various different foods available make for a brilliant day out.

25.JPG

There is plenty of places to get food and it's pretty easy to find your way around and find your seats.
Good selection of food and the seats all had good views of the stadium.

26.JPG

If you're thinking of catching a baseball game, I'd highly recommend doing it at chiba marine stadium.
If you come to Tokyo, you have to come here !
