Hi everyone! This is Ayu from Sakura Hostel Asakusa.
I'm just back from 1 week off!
So let me tell you about my trip.
On the first day, I left Tokyo by night bus.
It was about 10-hour trip. So long!
And on the next morning, I was having SUSHI right after my arrival at 7AM!
It was at a small sushi bar inside of Yonago station in Tottori prefecture.
We can easily find noodle stand or coffee shop inside train stations in Japan, but it was my first time to find a SUSHI BAR.
They also serve udon and soba noodles, and it warmed up my body after the long bus ride.
After that, I took the train JR Sakai Line. The train is from track no.0. Mmm... sounds mysterious...
It was on Saturday and spring holiday for students had just started, so there were so many kids.
All for this!
This Sakai Line is collaborating with Japanese famous cartoon "GeGeGe no Kitaro".
This area is hometown of the author Shigeru Mizuki.
Each station has a featured character from the anime.
So at some stations on this line, the trains stop a little bit longer compared to other normal lines.
Interior of the train is also decorated!
Here we arrive at the final stop! Sakai-minato station!
Next time I'll show you the town of Sakai-minato.
