This is called "Chozuya", place for purify your hands and mouth before proceeding to stand in front of the deity.

Do you know how to do that by the way?

清め方.jpg

1. Holding dipper in your right hand, and wash your left hand

2. Then, holding dipper in your left hand, and wash your right hand.

3.Holding dipper in your right hand again, pour water in palm of your left hand and rinse your mouth.

4. Washing your left hand again.

5. Holding the dipper vertically and remaining water runs down and purifies the handle.

DONE!! Now you are ready to go to pray!!

If you have a chance to go to shrine, please try purifying your hands and mouth :)!!

Thank you for reading!!

Hello. This is Yuki from Sakura Hostel Asakusa.

Do you have good eyesight?

Unfortunately, I have poor vision, so I wear contact lenses. 20170921_174502.jpg

Quite recently, I bought new glasses because I have used old one for 5 years. I could not see well with it. This is my new glasses. I bought this glasses at Zoff. I did not know that I could but glasses with cheap price.

Look at this bag. The glasses that I bought was in the bag, and I liked it.20170921_182519.jpg

You know "Where's Wally?" don't you?

I liked that book when I was little. I was not good at looking for him though.

However, I could find everything this time.

Can you find Wally and etc? 20170921_182335.jpg

If you have time please try it.

Hello. How are you doing all?

This is Yuki from Sakura Hostel Asakusa.

I went to Odaiba day before yesterday.20170912_130712.jpg

20170912_173054 (1).jpgI like there because I can see good views as well as I can shop.20170912_124321.jpg

When I got Odaiba, I had a ramen. It was really good. My favorite flavor is miso anyway.

After that I played at Joypolise. This was my first time to go there, so I enjoyed a lot.

Once I went outside, I saw beautiful view. It is beautiful isn't it? 20170912_174944.jpg

Even tough weather was not good, I had a great day.

Do you love beer?? Yes, I do!

Isn't it so good drinking nice beers under the sun, feeling a fresh sea breeze on the sundeck?

This weekend, there is the largest beer festival in Japan held in Yokohama where an hour away by subway and train from Asakusa. I highly recommend this "Great Japan Beer Festival" for beer lovers!

beerfes.jpg
beerfes1.jpgAt this BeerFes, you can experience a diversity of beers and learn about "Beer Styles" by tasting many beers to compare the difference of aromas and flavors. For more info, please check their website below.

After enjoying the beers, you can see the pretty Yokohama night view as a bonus!

Unfortunately, I'll be at work on this weekend instead of the beer party. Let me know how you enjoyed it =)
