Hi there! This is Ayu from Sakura Hostel Asakusa.
In February, I visited South Korea (again!) and visited Suwon city which is about 1 hour train ride from central Seoul.
Anyone visited there before?
If not, I recommend you to visit there!
I love the palaces or many historical spots in Seoul too, but the Castle of Suwon is much different.
I arrived there in the afternoon and didn't have much time to climb up the hill (further!), so I'll definitely go back there.
Actually, another purpose of my visit to Suwon is to see their football stadium.
It was still off-season then, and was under renovation.
As many workmen were coming and going, I luckily had chance to take a look inside a little bit.
It was such a beautiful stadium!
Now I have the second reason to go back to Suwon.
I wanna see the match in this stadium!
3 weeks after I came back to Tokyo, I was in Todoroki Stadium.
To see the game of Suwon Bluewings!
They're playing in the Asia Champions League this year, and had match against Kawasaki Frontale near Tokyo!
There's another serendipity too - my favorite Korean player Kim MinWoo just transferred from my favorite team to Bluewings this year.
I talked with some supporters, and was very happy to hear that MinWoo is loved by supporters.
On the next morning, I came to work and so surprised.
There were several guests wearing Bluewings jersey!
It was a pity I forgot to take a photo with them, but it was a happy surprise to have the supporters in our hostel.
If any of you're coming to Japan to cheer for your team, you're always welcome!
We'd also love to have big supporter groups in our hostel as we did almost every year for ACL or Club World Cup.
