Hi, everyone. I am Hayato from Asakusa Hostel.
I am going to introduce about the Harajuku area, today.
This area has so many places to visit, but I am writing about two places which are Meiji-shrine and Yoyogi-park.
There are a lot of shrines and temples in Tokyo, but Meiji-shrine is special and huge. There are few rules.
When you go throgh the gate it's called 'Torii', you have to walk left side or right side,
because it is said that a god goes through the middle of the path,
and one more you must not step on the middle of the step like above the picture.
Sorry this picture is too small.
I should have walked up more.
After visiting Meiji-shrine, you can go to the Yoyogi-park, because the park is next to the Meiji-shrine.
The Yoyogi park is also huge and it is surrounded by nature, so you can take fresh air!!!
Most people hang out and chill out there and some people enjoy sunbathing!!
If you would like to relax, you should enjoy your time here.
Do you know this bridge?
This is near by Meiji-shrine, as well.
If you go there on Saturday or Sunday, you could see people that wearing Lolita fashion on thiis bridge.
Furthermore, we are holding Harajuku & Aoyama Walking Tour this Sunday!!
If you would like to take part in the tour, please stay our hostel and sign up, thanks.
Thank you for reading my article and I am look forward to seeing you!!
