Hi there! This is Ayu from Sakura Hostel Asakusa.
Have you heard of SKY HOP BUS?
It is a hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus in Tokyo.
On the other day, I rode it for the first time!
It has 3 different course: Asakusa-Tokyo Skytree course, Odaiba course, and Roppongi-Tokyo Tower course.
We started from Mitsubishi Building in Marunouchi, near Tokyo station and took the Odaiba course.
Unfortunately, it was raining... it should be much better view on a sunny day!
Open top type would be available if it wasn't raining...
On the way to Odaiba, it stopped at Tokyo Tower!
At each bus stop, it stops for 5-10 minutes, so you can get off and quickly take the photo and get back on the bus.
I was too lazy to get off in the rain, but I could take a nice shot from the bus!
I got off the bus at Fuji Television bus stop.
It's also close to this spot!
Did you know we have Statue of Liberty in Tokyo too?
After having lunch, I hopped on the bus again and went to Miraikan, National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation.
They're currently under a big renewal, so it should be more interesting after April 2016.
After that, we got off the bus at Ginza and enjoyed ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT SUSHI!
The ticket was valid for 24 hours, so I took Asakusa-Tokyo Skytree course on the next day too!
SKY HOP BUS will have a revision of courses, ticket prices and timetables on April 1st 2016.
On weekends, it seems to become more frequent and operating later than current timetable.
It covers many tourist spots, so it'll be a good option if you're not sure where to visit in Tokyo!
