I'm Fumi,a new trainee fromSAKURA HOSTEL ASAKUSA. It's my first time to write a blog, so I would like to introduce about myself. If you have enough time to read it, I would be greatful and appreciate it!!
I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan.
My dad used to be a backpacker when he was young and traveled all over the word twice! So he took my family to Canada for traveling for 3 months and we stayed at his Canadian friend's house in Nelson which is near Vancouver. It was wonderful experience for me even if I was a kid. I remembered a lot of things, there were beautiful nature and wild animals.
When I was a child, I really liked dancing with pop music so I started learning ballet, then my dream was a ballet dancer!!! haha
When I was a junior high school student, I went to San Francisco in California as an exchange student for 2 weeks. It was really lucky for me because only one student in my school was able to go there, and the city covered all of the travel expenses. I felt freedom when I went to American school, and told my classmates some Japanese cultures such as Origami and Solanbushi(Japanese traditional dancing).
When I was high school student I joined cheerleading club and practiced every day after school for the competitions. I'm going to tell you my secret, then I had a nice muscle!!! haha
When I was 19 years old I have been inSydney, Australia to study abroad for half a year! Then I fell in love with this country because there were beautiful beaches, huge sky, friendly people, sunshine, lots of Sunny days, Tim Tam( very popure chocolate cookies), adorable koaras and amazing parks!!!
All of these things made me feel happy and relax everyday!!!
I went to language school and made many attractive international friends there:)
After I came back to Japan, I had been dreaming about going to Australia again on the working holiday oneday!
When I was 23 years old, my dream came true! Yayyyyyyyy!!!!!
I came back to Australia on the working holiday and stayed at some share houses in Gold Coast, Perth, Brisbarne and Melbournefor a year. It was wonderful experience to work at a local cafe and an Italian restaurant there. I'll never forget this fantastic memories and lovely friends ;)
After I came back to Tokyo, I started working at Tokyo Skytree Town as an English suporting staff at the information counter with looooong hat.haha
Last year I have been in Ishigaki island, Okinawa for working at the resort hotel with amazing international staffs. There was SUPER beautiful emerald green oceans that I've ever seen before.
I think you are wondering how was in the tropical island.
I'm going to tell you about Ishigaki island's life next time.
To Be Continued...
Thank you very much for reading my first blog until the end :)
