Hi there, This is Ayumi from SAKURA HOSTEL ASAKUSA.
Do you know ORIGMI?
ORI meaning "folding", and KAMI meaning "paper".
ORIGAMI is the art of paper folding,
which is often associated with Japanese culture.
The private Origami work shop was fold at the lobby of SAKURA HOSTEL ASAKUSA.
The guest was a lovery family from Tasumania, Australia.
First, we fold "CRAINE" .
The origami crane is the most well known of all the origami models.
This is not easy, but very beautiful.
And I wanted to fold something seasonal,
so I choose Christmas tree and Santas boots.
After Origami, we served maccha-green tea with small sweets.
It was first time for them, so their mother was surprised it's bitter taste X0
Finaly we folded so many ORIGAMI.
It was fun to fold with many people with chatting :D
I hope they enjoyed learning Japanese traditional culture.
Thanks you for participating！
