This is Kyoko from Sakura Hostel Asakusa :)
A half of month has gone, how are you doing?
We had SUMO WATCHING TOUR on 14th.
Everyone enjoyed watching SUMO live and got so excited!!
You can see more pictures from the tour here!
By the way, recently SUMO has dramatically become more popular among Japanese people.
Because of that, sometimes foreign tourists cannot reach the advanced tickets at all.
For all those who are in trouble for getting a ticket for SUMO of this season,
I'd like to teach you how to get a ticket.
The only option is...
to get a ticket on the same day!!
They start selling tickets on the same day at 8:00AM.
So, I recommend you to go there a bit earlier than the time, for example, between 7:00AM-7:30AM.
The ticket price is 2,100 yen per adult.
After purchasing a ticket on the same day,
just enjoy walking around Ryogoku area since the highlight of the tournament will start around 4:00PM.
In Ryogoku area, there is Edo Tokyo Museum right behind of Kokugikan SUMO arena.

And there are lots of Chanko Nabe restaurants near the station.
(Chanko Nabe is a stew contained lots of vegetables which SUMO wrestlers eat everyday.)
And if you are going to stay in Sakura Hostel Asakusa next week,
We still have available seats for SUMO WATCHING TOUR on 24th.
Please join us!!
See you :D*
