Hi there! This is Ayu from Sakura Hostel Asakusa.
I've been writing about my trip to Tohoku Bokujo Farm, and this is the Part 4.
As you might know, I haven't written anything about the farm so far as we mainly went for sightseeing on the first day.
On the second day of our trip, we finally reached Tohoku Bokujo Farm!
In the huge farm, they grow various kind of vegitables, herbs, and also raise chicken and racing horses.
This time I'll introduce some of the vegitables grown there.
On the first day, we picked some mint.
I was so concentrated on picking up, so I forgot to take the photo of the field, but it was full of refreshing scent of mint.
On the second day, we cropped many kinds of vegetable.
Red leaf lettuce
Daichi from Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro just finished rinsing them.
I was so surprised to see how zucchini grows.
Zucchini itself is very similar to cucumber, but the way it grows is very different from cucumber!
Aomori is the biggest producer of garlics in Japan!
