Hi everyone! This is Ayu from Sakura Hostel Asakusa.
Did you already read Part 1 of my trip to Niigata?
As I wrote in Part 1, I went to the stadium in Niigata to cheer my favorite team Sagantosu.
The game was vs Albirex Niigata, and we lost...
But this is the photo we took after the game!
Yes, Albirex suppoters and Sagantosu supporters are in very GOOD relationship!! We're FRIENDS!!
In J.League, every year we have at least 2 games vs the same team, in home and away.
We both visit each stadium in turn and have NOMIKAI - drinking party together after the game!
This time, we gathered in very cozy izakaya near Niigata central station.
They served a lot of yummy local dishes!
The pile of packages on the left is rice cookers.
Niigata is the biggest producer of rice in Japan!
So, they're also one of the biggest producers of Japanese Sake!
Before I visited Niigata this time, I didn't like sake (made of rice) so much.
However, most of Niigatan people knows very well about it, and they chose the good brand for a beginner like me!
Everyone was so drunk and the camera was shaken lol
Aaaaaand in the end of the party, they celebrated MY BIRTHDAY!! So nice of them!!
I'd never imagined that our fellows and enemy supporters would sing ♪Happy Birthday♪ together for me!
It was really a memorable moment <3
Well, this is all for the match day, but my trip in Niigata still goes on!
See you in Part 3 ^^
