here's Vanessa again. ^^
Today I think about to write about a personal thing: my first contact with a piece of Japanese culture, when I was a little child (and of course, I fall in love with it ^^).
When I was young, I could watch many anime series on TV (a station called RTL2) every afternoon. And I loved it. I got crazy about it and HAVE to watch them! You can say, I was a real hardcore fan.^^
My absolute, absolute favourite anime series was in Germany called "Mila Superstar", here in Japan it is called アタックNo.1, Atakku No. 1. Maybe you know it?
When you see a picture of my childhood hero Mila, you will know it for shure!
Because of this I played volleyball for almost 10 years. ^^
And do you know this one?
"Die kleinen Superstars" (光の伝説 Hikari no Densetsu). Whenever Hikari has a competition, it was so thrilling, and drawn so lovely in detail. The soundtrack was very very cool, too (I have it on my mp3-player and listen to it even now^^).
There are so much more. Maybe you know them and love this series, too, when you was younger or a little child. I love it, to think about this times.^^
"Rock'n Roll Kids", 愛してナイト, Ai shite naito
"Hallo Kurt!", おはよう!スパンク, Ohayō! Supanku http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohay%C5%8D!_Spank
"Kickers", がんばれ!キッカーズ, Gambare! Kikkāzu http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ganbare,_Kickers!
"Rock'n Cop", 未来警察ウラシマン Mirai Keisatsu Urashiman http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Future_Police_Urashiman
When I have the time, I want to watch them all again!^^
This older Japanese anime series are so great and are a lovely part of my life.
So I want to swim in this big pool of my childhood memories again. ^^
And I think, everyone has such nice, little memories, which let one smile.
How about you?^^
