Weekly series: "Pssst. Now our guests are speaking!" This week: Gema from Mexico! ^^

Hello together,

here's our weekly series
"Pssst. Now our guests are speaking!"
once more (Friday, Friday, already Friday *sing* ^^).

So once a week, we want to give you the chance to read more about what our guests are thinking and what they want to recommend to you, our readers. ^^

This week, we have such a really lovely guest for our interview (it was a great interview)! ^^

It's Gema from Mexico! ^^

Gema is 30 years old and stays here for 6 days! ^^

Look at this soooo cute school bag, Gema has bought here. Really so cute, hihi.

Since she was 12, Gema dreamed about coming to Japan :)
She's really into anime and manga - so her favourite anime series is "Evangelion" and she loves all the Ghibli movies.
And her favourite Ghibli movie is "Howl's moving castle" (if you don't know that movie, you really should watch it). ^^

Gema likes video games, too! She even has more than one game console at home (I totally can understand that ^^), she likes adventure games, first person shooter and dancing games. ^^

Of course, I asked Gema, what she likes the most about Japan and Tokyo and she told me, that "the people here are so nice, educated and clever, so original and have the 'Hiroshima spirit', so they never give up." And that enspires her, never to give up, too. Wow, that are really great thoughts, I think.
She likes it, that the streets here and everything in Japan is so clean.
And she loves it, to stand up early and to see, how this big city starts up.

What place she recommended to our future guests and Tokyo visitors, which they shouldn't miss?

Gema recommended Tokyo Tower - because you can see the whole Tokyo in one time (and the girls in the elevator with their uniforms are so nice, hihi).

Furthermore, Gema recommends the Senso-ji Temple, because "you can do all the rituals and traditional things there...you can feel some spiritual contact, which let you feel at home."

(At Senso-ji you can not only pray, you can for example get your fortune there or get in touch with the healing powers of the holy incense/smoke).

And Gema went to a Bar/restaurant in Shinjuku, which was on an upper floor. She couldn't remember the name, but for her it was really great, it was full of lights and you could feel the city atmosphere around you.

(There are many nice upper floor bars in Shinjuku, where you could go in the evening - maybe it could look like in this picture from 24th floor. ^^).

For all our female readers, Gema has a special insider tip, where you could go. ^^
It's called "NailBar" and is located in the mall in Ginza station.

They do really great hands care there, manicure, uses special oils and do hand massage.
Gema liked it very much, they are really specialists there, it was totally relaxing and everything was so nice and pretty there (the girls, the smell and everything ^^).
If you want more information, I found this link here (and I'm sorry, they have no English homepage)

I asked Gema, if she experienced some funny things right now, while staying in Tokyo.
So her answer was "The Sumo Tour" - because it was really so much fun for her! ^^

She was screaming a lot, cause she was so much into it.
It was so much fun and she enjoyed walking to and back very much, too. ^^

Gema made us a present after the interview - just look! ^^
Isn't that really great!
We love it! :)

Looking so cute and Gema is really so talented :)
Finished this picture under 5 minutes and I only thought "WOW!".
Aren't we looking so cute! ^^ I wish, I could draw like Gema. Totally great! :)

If you want to know more, Gema started her own blog and will upload more of her pictures in the future. ^^

Gema has a message for all you readers and hopefully future Japan visitors. ^^

"Once in your life you have to come to Japan and if you do so, don't miss the Asakusa Hostel experience!"

Thank you so much, dear Gema (and once again, we really didn't pay for that! :D )

And of course, I have a message for you, too.

Thank you for that great interview!
I enjoyed it so much talking with you :)

And that your Hiroshima spirit never let give you up. ^^
I hope, you will have a great time here and back home...and that we can see again in the future!
Of course with your sister here in Japan! :)
Thank you so much and please come back!!! :)
