Weekly series: "Pssst. Now our guests are speaking!" This week: Reginald from Canada! ^^
here's our weekly series
"Pssst. Now our guests are speaking!"
again (wow, it's already Friday! ^^).
So once a week, we want to give you the chance to read more about what our guests are thinking and what they want to recommend to you, our readers. ^^
This week, we have a really great guest for our interview! ^^
It's Reginald from Canada. ^^
As you can see, he holds the flag of Haiti, too. His parents are from there, so he's rooted with Haiti's culture, too.
Reginalds age is a secret, so I'm not allowed to tell you! ^^
(But pssst...no matter how old Reginald is, he's a really cool guy! ^^)
Reginald stay for one month in Tokyo and for 2 weeks in our hostel.
That's really great!
He's in Japan, to take some time for himself and for visiting and sightseeing. ^^
Reginald like the most about Japan and Tokyo, that "the culture and people here are so "zen" and so kind."
And "The food is great and and so is martial art!"
I asked Reginald, which place here in Tokyo he could recommend to future guests, they shouldn't miss.
He told me, that he recommends all kinds of temple.
Especially Sensoji temple and Kaneiji temple in Ueno!
(Kaneiji had ever been the most high ranked and the biggest temple in Edo covering all of the area of current Ueno park and more).
You can see it on this picture.
Every temple lying on his way or he walked by, he has to visit. ^^
Ah, yes, of course, there's always the question about bars and restaurants. ^^
Reginald like the bars in Roppongi and Shibuya, so they are very nice.
About the restaurants, he hopes, that you love all kinds of food, because there are so many kinds of food to try! ^^
I asked Reginald, if he has experienced some funny things in Tokyo and he told me, that
"You meet so many people here all around the world and that you get to learn a lot from all of them"
- and that was so much more, than he has ever expected! ^^
Reginald has a message for you and all our readers:
Japan - you have to visit it at least one time in your life...You will enjoy it for sure!
And if you can, try to learn the basic words and phrases...it will help you for sure.
---
Thank you Reginald for giving me the chance for that very spontaneous interview!
It was a lot of fun! ^^
Enjoy your time and always keep the young and open minded person, you are! :)
Thank you so much!
You're always welcome! :)
