Do you need some luck in love? ^^
Do you know the song "Temple of love" from the Sisters of Mercy! ^^
I love this song! :D
But maybe the Sisters of Mercy made a mistake, when they released this song 1992!
Maybe they mixed something!
Maybe this song should be called "The Shrine of Love" :D
Just kidding! ^^
But we really have a
shrine of love
- just around the corner!
It's called
Imado Jinja
(今戸神社)
-----
But first I have to explain another fact.
Did you remember my blog post about Maneki Neko?
Just look HERE!
There I've written, that all the history of Maneki Neko starts at Goutokuji Temple...and at this time I didn't know, that there's a Shrine, too, from which is told the same! ^^
It's the Imado Jinja!
Somehow really confusing! ^^
So no one really knows, where Maneki Neko really comes from - if it's Goutokuji Temple or Imado Jinja! ^^
-----
But the Imado Jinja Shrine is also well known for a good marriage and love.
Because Joeroku (福禄寿), one of the Seven Gods of Good Luck, to which this shrine is dedicated to, is also the god of marriage and a good fertility base.
Belonging to this fact, there's a huge Maneki Neko couple in the shrine and makes this Shrine popular for that. ^^
So especially, in this shrine, with the connection to Joeroku, the fortune cats brings great luck for love and marriage!
If you are looking for your bride or bridegroom, this is the best place to pray for your fortune! ^^
Because of this, many young women visit this shrine to write their wishes on cute votive Maneki-Neko tablets (ema), believing that the maneki neko will help them come true. ^^

There are many fortune cats items for that in this shrine and around there.
So maybe you're searching for your big love or want to marry or already have married and want to have good luck.
Then you should visit Imado Jinja! ^^
It's just around 15 minutes walk away from here!^^
Here's the map - just look. ^^
