Special foods in Autumn in Japan
Now Autumn has come in earnest recently.
We have various seasonal foods in Japan in Autumn.
I will introduce some, and dishes with them.
1: Chestnuts

You don't need an explanation what chestnut is.How do you cook them?cake,pie,or cream?
Japanese cook them for Kurigohan(rice mixed with chestnuts)
They enjoy natural sweet and texture of chestnuts.

2: Pacific saury 
This fish is written 秋刀魚in kanji. If we translate these kanji,秋means Autumn, 刀does sword, and 魚does fish.
So as these indicate, this fish is well caught and delicious in Autumn with just enough fat !!
How Japanese eat it ?? we eat sashimi, sushi,and broiled with salt !
When you eat as sashimi, it's fat melts on your tongue and feel the taste spreading all over your mouth.
When you eat as broiled with salt, we recommend eating with grated radish and soy sauce !
Some times people squeeze lemon or citrus sudachi on it and have refreshing taste.
