The latest Ghibli film

What do you come up when you are asked " what is the world famous Japanese movoie?"
Ring ? Juon ? or Poket monsters ?
I personally think it is Ghibli films.
Many famous Ghibli films have been aired and translated into English; like My neighbour Totoro, Princes Mononoke, and Spirited away.
The movies of Hayao MIyazaki are watched and popular all over the world.

Then finally, the latest Ghibli movie will be aired from this Saturday(16th) in Japan.
The title is Kokuriko-Zaka kara ( From Poppies bloom hill)
Here is the story below.

In 1963 in Yokohama.
A 16 year-old girl Umi raises up a signal flag toward the sea, which means praying for safe sailing every morning.
A 17 year-old boy Shun sees it from a tag boat on the sea every day.
With Tokyo Olympic near at hand next year, people break old things and believe that only new materials are great.
In that period, a small dispute has happened at a high school in Yokohama.
The dispute was about whether they destroy a building or preserve it.
The building is a cultural club room, old,but memorial and historical.
Umi and Shun met there.
Shun calls on students to protect it, and Umi suggests cleaning to let them know how great the building is.
Umi and Shun are gradually attracted to each other ,but a trial breaks out.

Umi : when you become to hate me, tell it to me honestly !
Shun we might be siblings.
Umi: what should we do ?

Then they know how their parents met, loved, and survived during the war and after the war.
After knowing the fact, what do they find in their futures ?

Here is the preview.
