Shodo Workshop July 2011

The Shodo workshop, our monthly event at Sakura Hostel Asakusa was held just past Sunday.

As always, guests have a good time writing their name in Kanji (Chinese character).

I can tell that his name is Chris

and her name is Caroline

For those who joined the event got origami for free.

Some people put their Kanji name on tattoo. That's fine, but just make sure you know the meaning.
Some guy had a tattoo that says "冷奴".

If you beak it down into two words,

"冷" = Cool
"奴" =Guy

But if you them together, it doesn't mean "Cool guy".
It means "Cold Tofu"
