There are many outside events in Summer in Japan.
Camping, hiking, climbing mountain, swimming in the sea and playing on the beach with barbecue.
Drinking beer with edamame (green soybeans) at beer gardens.
And one of the most exciting, beautiful and artistic events, is firework.

We have many fireworks events in Japan through July to August.
The three most famous fireworks in Japan are in Oomagari (Akita prefecture), Tsuchiura (Ibaraki prefecture), and Nagaoka( Niigata prefecture).
Especially the one held in Akita is the greatest among them.

Also we have a lots of fireworks events as below at many places

【At Hokkaido】

Hakodate (on August 1st )
Tokachi riverside (on August 13th)

【At Tohoku district】

Aomori (on August 7th, Aomori prefecture)
Sendai (on August 5th, Miyagi prefecture)
Fukushima (on August 7th, Fukushima prefecture)

【Kanto district】

Sumida river side( on August 27th, Tokyo,near Sakura Hostel Asakusa )

Some of fireworks are decided to be off because of the earthquake on 11th of March.
Some people think they should refrain from holding events for people killed in the disaster.
But others think we should do to promote recovery and cheer Japan up.
I agree with the latter, and you ?
