Fortune telling paper (omikuji) at temples and shrines
When you visit a temple or shrine in Japan, especially in the beginning of a year, don't forget to pick your "fortune".
It tells you how your near future will be. Well, this small piece of paper RATES your luck. Excellent? So so? Unlucky? and so on.
This year, the fortune that I picked at Sensoji temple says that I will have "a half fortune".
A half fortune?? half??
I don't know what "a half fortune" means, but I'm at least not "miserably unlucky".
