Family restaurants in Japan

In Japan, the term family restaurant is used to refer to chains of value restaurants.
Like coffee shops, people tend to go to family restaurants to study or talk endlessly with their friends.

Family restaurants are the type of place you can order a coffee or desert and sit for hours without feeling guilt.
Popular chains include Denny’s, Johnathans and Skylark.

Some of our guests ask us where they can have Japanese breakfast. Family restaurants are a good place to go since they have a Japanese menu, as well as a Western menu.
