Some crazy details about the party By Peter

I have got some news for you about the party I had few nights ago!

hhm, it was a Nabe-dumpling Party, and I was the main chef of the party, since the crowd asked me to cook some real Chinese food, and the only Chinese food in my mind was dumplings, so I decided to cook dumplings for them, and as everybody knows dumpling is a Chinese dish really easy to cook. so I went to the supermarket and bought a few packs of dumplings and fooled my friends telling them that those dumplings were made by me. LOL

Okay. let me tell you a little bit of details about what happened in the party, actually we spent the whole night drinking alcohol, and dancing in my house, making noise the whole night and getting wasted.
but I kinda got pissed around 4am, because honestly I was so effing tired from work, and my friends were so noisy even after telling them to let me sleep! but they never listened and they were practising martial arts in the middle of night.... that was really really annoying!

Well in the end the party was good, I got to see many people that I don't get to see them often in these days. and my friends even prepared a cake for me, as a late B-day celebration. it was kind of late because my B-day was on march 30th, but it is sweet when people actually care about you. Thank you for being there for me, when I need you guys!

Our guests from Hong Kong and Israel

Here are our guests Ohad Shvily and Cherry Lam from Israel and Hong Kong respectively who stayed with us in Asakusa Hostel last week. I had a chance to get to know more about their lives and had a pleasant chat with them.

Cherry is a handbag designer and studied Japanese in one of the Hong Kong Institutes. She loves sweets so much that she just kept buying the candies in Japan. When she left Japan, she gave me a pack of Godiva chocolate, which was so yummy! It's always awesome that you hear your native language overseas. We just kept talking nonstop about the recent news in Hong Kong and realized that how outdated I am. I didn't even remember last week was public holiday (Easter) in Hong Kong and that's why Cherry was here! She said she would like to come here again! What a sweet girl!

Ohad said he had traveled many countries and Japan would be his final stop. Now he is in Ishinomaki (in Miyagi prefecture)helping people to cut seaweed as a volunteer. I was so deeply impressed and proud of him as a foreigner!

We are looking forward to seeing you guys again!

The Difference of Interests Between Japanese & Foreigners

Hello again! I, Kyoko am going to write today too :)

One day, when I came to work to Asakusa,
I figured out a very interesting fact.

That is the difference of interests between Japanese people & foreigners.

Usually japanese love taking pictures of scenery or buildings.
Like my pics.

However, I saw lots of foreigners taking pictures of the statues of Buddha!

In my opinion, most of japanese (of course including me) like enjoying the atmosphere and foods in the touristic place.

On the other hand, it seems even in the same place foreign people like enjoying the culture and experience.

So what today I would like to ask our readers is
When you visit to foreign place, what do you enjoy there?

Tomorrow is party night in my place! by Peter

So tomorrow is going to be my big night, since its the very first party that I am going to throw not as a student but as a newcomer of the real society. my friends are coming to my place and obviously we are going to have a crazy night lol!

Cant wait to have my crazy party. hope my neighbours wont get mad again like they did last time, they almost call the police because we were so lousy and drunk, haha and I remember one of my friends he suddenly stood up when we all were drinking alcohol on the floor and chilling out,and he started to give us a speech about how equal we all are , and that we are all the same no matter what job you got, and no matter what skin colour you got !well actually he has got a point, I completely agree with him! and thanks to his noisy speech the people living next door came and whined at us. hahaha but it was a really good party though! OMG I cant wait!

Wow Wow Wow ! Guess What! I just got a flower and a cake from one of our guests! How sweet! I think I am starting to like this job. YAY!

Peter's night shift!

My labour diary # 2 (Night Shift:day 3)

Actually tonight is not my first night of my night shift, in fact, something really funny happened at my first night, even now the memory I have for the first night is very clear. Let me tell you about what happened that night. I was like usual, a little bit not used to night shift but I was doing just fine, receiving orders from my co-workers, and running some errands, and then one hour has passed, and suddenly some stranger showed up from nowhere and he began to complain about that

"our system is wrong" and that "we are not like those science fiction films" and that "there are still many things to amend".

and I was like O.o ?? huh ? yes sir ??? and actually I was thinking : "What the....." and then after like 10 mins of unstopping weird speech the stranger took leave leaving behind a strong unpleasant odour.... and this is what happened to me at my very first night. kinda funny isn't it LOL.

PS: His speech kinda reminded me of a song called "threw it on the ground "
I will put a link below so you can watch it! and feel about what I felt at my first night HA!

By the way, One of our guests is having an interview tomorrow! lets cheer her up!

Hope I dont fall asleep, but actually I slept a little bit before coming to work.

Good Night and have a nice dream!
