Oh yes, finally!!!
Rainy season is almost over in this week.
That means?
Yeah ... finally the firework-season is starting in Japan!!! Woo hoo!
You should check out our informative Fireworks display Schedule in Tokyo area.
http://www.sakura-hostel.co.jp/fireworks2010.html
My recommendation of fireworks display is ''Adachi no Hanabi'' on July 29th
from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm (12,000 fireworks).
Huge fireworks are spread over in front of you.
The climax is so...breathtaking!
The most popular fireworks display is held in Sumida river just 10 mins walk from here.
So we are planning to have Hanabi & free Sushi Party!!
When: July 31
Time: 4pm~
Place: Sakura hostel asakusa (Sushi Party) ⇒Sumida park (watch fireworks)
Whoever comes in Yukata, gets a Free Drink!!
Japanese love to wear Yukata (light summer kimono) at summer festivals, and fireworks events.
Wearing Yukata has become the part the summertime in Japan.
Here is man's version of Yukata. That makes you sexier.

Our guests wearing cute Yukata

Tomoe helped out making a nice shape of Obi belt.
Kawaii~
This is a Yukata for dog!! Smallest Yukata I've ever seen.
It's available at Nakamise Street in Senso-ji.

Now is your turn to wear them!!
But buying Yukata is out of your budget?
Don't worry, UNIQLO sells a cheap yukata.

Their price is 4990 yen includes Obi belt.
When you put on Yukata, you feel like to be a part of Japanese.
Even I feel more Japanesey with Yukata.
