heavenly blue☆

When I looked up seeds of morning glories in a dictionary,
I found the word on the title of this post.
Don't you think it sounds really cute?
Could you tell me the origin of this name if you know?

These seeds are from our morning glories Tsuyoshi had planted this summer.
There are still some seeds I need to pick.
I'll take some of them for my garden:)

I like red-violet colored ones.

They are called "morning glories" because they bloom in the morning, and then die in the afternoon.
New ones bloom everyday.

Thank you for your help.
How about the origin of "heavenly blue"?

In Japanese, we call it "Asagao" which means morning face:)

Hmmm...."Heavenly Blue" is the most popular color of Morning Glories. And I think that is the only reason.

Eto..."Heavenly Blue" ha ichiban sukina iro node Morning Glories to "Heavenly Blue" ha onaji desu. Tabun...kore dake to omoimasu
