It's my turn to take a summer vacation!

I'm going to Mexico in the end of this month for the first time in 4 years. Soooo excited!
I have a friend in Mexico City, where I will arrive and spend probably the first few days. I haven't decided yet where I should go after that. Guadalajara, where I spent a lot of time 4 years ago, is an option because I can see more friends there.

And, maybe, to the beach. Can anybody recommend a good beach? I want to go to a quiet, kind of hidden and local beach.
