Beer mountain?

Mt Fuji is the most famous mountain as the highest one in Japan.
Now, have you ever heard about Mt Takao?
It is getting popular among foreigners because it got three Michelin stars last year☆★☆
beermnt1.jpg
There is a big beer garden on the middle of this mountain
where you can enjoy nice view with tasty beer↑↑

From Shinjuku, it takes only 50mins to get there(direct).
It's still in Tokyo, but is surrounded by greenery.

Japan survived third-round elimination in first place last night.
They moved ahead to play in the final one and a drawing for group placements
will be hold on 27th of June.

lots of people helped me and had a great time with them.
I'd like people here to feel like me.

become more complex or convenient?

fukutoshin.bmp
A new metro line, Fuku-Toshin line, is officially opened yesterday.
It connects Shibuya and Wako City through Ikebukuro and has 16 stations.

Tokyo is getting smaller and many choices to get to one place.
It will ease our terrible congestion every morning:)
How should I go to Ikebukuro now...by JR or by this new line?

Anyway, I gotta try this!

Earthquake today -Tokyo is ok

This morning, I felt a big earthquake when I was at the front desk. It wasn't big enough to seriously damage anything in Tokyo. But, as some of you might know, there have been some people dead, missing or injured because of this earthquake in Miyagi, the area where the focus was.

We received a phone call from a parent of one of our guests staying at the hostel now.
Please don't worry. Tokyo is ok. We are far from the center of the earthquake. We are just deeply sorry for the loss. Hope that next week we won't hear negative news like those of this week.

Plant fair.

uekiichi.jpg
Are you interested in plants or already into gardening?
Every three times a year, Sengen shrine(a 5-minute walk from here) has a plant fair.

Around that shrine, there will be about 350 open booths and it saids that
plants you buy there grow very well.

The first two was over but the last one is on the 1st of July.
If you have a time, why don't you take a look?
It will be fun!
