One of my favorite days☆

On the 9th of May is the ICE CREAM DAY here in Japan!
What a wonderful day♪
The reason is like this...
In 1869, one shop in Yokohama started to make and sell icecream for the first time in Japan.
It was the 9th of May, so we commemorated it.
Baskin Robbins will have a free scoop night for the people who donate to the UNICEF.
At the other shops, they may have something special on that day.
Which shops should I go this year...?

I hate the fact that I still have not found a job in Japan yet....

How about going to Namja Town in Sunshine City (Ikebukuro) ?
It's the place they have so weird flavours like octopus, wasabi, snake, garlic....
The place they sell it is called "Ice Cream Museum".
It's a theme park (created by Namco, which makes video games too) though so you have to pay an entrance, but you can access to other things like Gyoza museum with 20 gyoza shops, chou cream shops, and other things.
Here's the link : http://www.namja.jp/
I recommend the wasabi ice cream :p but the octopus ice cream is not that tasty.
Anyway, it still was a very interesting and unusual experience !

oh yea..Namjya Town, I've been there. I wish I had those seek/adventure games the kids had. It would help American youth not be so fat by making them run around and use common intuition.

I've heard about that place but never been there yet.
I'm just afraid of getting weight:P

Don't worry Yuri, I don't exactly see you getting "fat" from one visit to Namjya Town
