As a traveler, I am not always happy to hear that my favorite places make it to the LP. I'm not saying this will happen with the Asakusa Hostel, but listings in the LP often raise prices whilst lowering quality and service standards. They often become lazy.
Please do the right thing and take this opportunity to use the new publicity as a good thing and now as a "ah, the tourists will now come anyway" thing.
Congratulations everybody! You have all worked hard and deserve it. I hope though that when we come back it will not be too hard to get a room due to all the new visitors from the Lonely Planet guide :) we will book very early!
Sakura Hostel is a great place. I have been there twice and I will come back in the future, not because of Lonely Planet, but because It is a special place to stay at and enjoy the atmosphere with people from all over the world. Good luck Sakura Hostel.
