Our guests looked like they didn't want to leave.

As you know, we'll have a big party tonight.
Fireworks festival and our first anniversary!!

It's gonna be fun and I can't wait:)

Though I was born and raised in Tokyo, I'd like to say that San Diego is my home town.
At least twice a year, my friends who I met there get together.
They are one of my treasures☆
Everytime I meet them, I come to feel like to go back to S.D.

But now, I'm working in Tokyo.
I wish Tokyo will be a "hometown" for our guests just like me♪

Naoto was training with our guests yesterday and.....he got hurt.

We have guest books which you can write anything what you want
on the table at the rounge.
We just put the new note and that is the Forth one.

On the first page, we are trying to collect the HELLO in all languages.
So, if you can't find your language, please add yours!

I wanna memorize all and try to use to our guests when they check in ;)

After the big typhoon was gone, the big earthquake hit Niigata and Nagano prefectures...
The quake registered 6.8 on the Richter scale.
Though Tokyo is fine, I felt the shock of the earthquake at that moment.
Some of our guests as well.

The damage so far is serious and it may be bigger...
I hope its quick recovery☆★

Happy birthday to Sakura Hostel Asakusa!!
On 15th of July 2006, Our hostel has opened.
How time flies!

I really appreciate our guests who had stayed here and
always looking forward to seeing new guests ;)

All of them are so nice people and I'm happy to work with them.
Especially Tomo (our boss), she is always caring about our hostel and us.

Her name is Man-Yi, born in Caroline Islands on 9th.
She is getting bigger and caused big damages so far in Kyushu-Islands.

As you can see above, this typhoon(called Man-Yi) is hitting Tokyo tonight.
I'm just wondering whether our guests can arrive here safely tomorrow...

These are from our guest, Gri-chan, from Russia.
He stayed at Sakura hostel last July for about a month and then,
he came back this year again!

Actually, he is not staying with us this time but we are happy to see him again.
Some of you may know him because he was popular here.

You may know Naoto is learning Jiujitsu for 3 years.
And finally, he got a new friend (our guest) who is learning Jiujitsu, too.

He just started training it but hopefully, he will beat naoto soon★
