We have a lot of guests from Sweden and Finland in this Spring.
I thought they use almost the same language but they are totally different!
They don't understand each other.
It's just like Korean and Japanese.

↑It means “Welcome” in Finnish and Swedish.

This is the second time to change our tables and chairs at lounge.
We tried to make "chaotic″.
How do you think?

Here, you can still see the other kind of Sakura.
This one is called Shiba-Zakura(芝桜) and now, it's in full bloom.
This park, which is called Hitsujiyama-Koen (羊山公園), is located in Chichibu.
It will take 2 hours from our hostel but it's worth visitting for sure.

If you are Japan freak, you may had seen this on TV.
They put an arrow in the target with riding horse!
It must be skillful and need a power of concentration.

You know, I tried to take a picture the moment of he shoot the target...
but it was sooo tough!!
He is hiding behind the tree now.

Sebastian and Hiromi. Kanpa?i

Our friend Sebastian who stayed in Sakura Hostel before brought yummy yummy German sausages from his going back home and served them for us. We enjoyed his dishes and such a nice beer♪ Oops! Hiromi and I were supposed to be at work then, weren't we? ;)

We changed our chairs again to make more people can have seats.
New (actually, they are secondhands) chairs are smaller than before
but big enough for anyone.
Tomo is powerful!!
I got this pretty purse with an elephant from Thai guest today!
I think now it's famous that I love elephants ;)
This puppet is for Tomo from Australian guest.
FYI, I love ice-cream, too.

We made origami birds (cranes) this morning.
Mom is working for kids in her country and gonna teach them how to fold it.
Actually, it's been a while since I made origami and I was almost forgetting.
They gave me a good chance to recall it.
Thanks a lot ;)
This lovely mural decoration is a gift from Mexican guest.
He gave to us when he checked in and said that "you guys love a souvenir, right?"
I'm wondering how he knew that.
Anyway, this mural decoration will be put on here↓
Just forget about him.

This is Hiromi, before she had her hair cut.
One day later, her hair style has changed as follows...↓↓↓

↑↑↑☆★☆Looks gorgeous★☆★

Our guest left this cute elephant for me this morning :)
They know that I'm crazy about elephants.
Thank you soooo much and I'll never forget about you guys★
Come back again!!
It's Hiromi's birthday today.
If she is not here, our hostel will be messy soon...
Thank you for keeping our hostel clean and comfortable place.
I always ask her something what I don't know well because she gives me shrewd advices.
She is a reliable person and an experienced woman☆
We wish you are having wonderful birthday today!!

Can you find some egrets on this picture? (Right)
Sensouji temple (浅草寺) held the egrets festival today, and I saw they were dancing.

More interesting thing for me, I found a white elephant with Buddha(お釈迦様)
statue on its back. His (Her?) eyes are so pretty♪

Julien, the French guy stayed at sakura hostel several times before,
sent these sweets for us:)
you are so sweet!!

↑He is Julien. How are you doing??

One of our guest took a picture for us in last Nov.
and sent that to the hostel the other day with sweet message.
Tomoe and I were sooooo happy to received it.
ほんとうにありがとう!!(Thank you very much)
We love you;)
I forgot to let you know about the important thing...
We got an award for No.3 hostel in Asia in 2006 :)
Thank you, Arigatou for all of our guests.
We'll keep making an effort so that we can be the ☆No.1☆ this year.
We are waiting for your candid advice.
We are high season right now and we have Four groups staying here.
From Thailand, USA, Austlia and South Africa!!
So busy but so fun ;)

I went to the park near my house and see cherry blossom.
Already 80% of them were blossoming (八分咲き) and were of course so beautiful.
They make Japanese people happy and take notice of the coming of spring.

This is my favourite Sakura, called Shidare Zakura (枝垂桜).
It is the different kind of Sakura, as you can see the flowers are drooping.
Though this tree is more than 200 years old, still so gorgeous!!
I'm envy her ;)
