TOKYO BIG MARATHON 2007
Is there any lucky person selected to join the Tokyo Marathon 2007?
It will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2007 and start from Tokyo Metropolitan Government and finish at Tokyo Big Sight. 25,000 selected lucky people can join it.
What is so exciting about it is... they will come to our place, Asakusa! In the latter stage of the race, they run through the Kaminarimon gate, only a few minutes walk away from our hostel. We are sure that we will go cheer for the runners with our guests on that day.

Sounds like the Tokyo marathon is a really big event! I'm from Canada but the only marathons we have are for raising money for Charity...is the Tokyo marathon the same thing? Or is it just for fun?
I'll be coming to Tokyo on my reading break for one week so it will be fun to see the Marathon with my own eyes!
I think my friends are booking a hostel room during that time so I can't wait to meet everyone at the Hostel. I hope that I can get along with everyone! I want to get to know everyone a little bit before I come so I am just messaging everyone before I come over to Tokyo. Feel free to email me when you get the chance! Mata ne!

Im from Madrid, Spain. Im sure you will enjoy with the marathon passing near your hostel :-D
Here we have a marathon in spring, and always causes a total kaos in the city becouse of the traffic, he,he.
I hope I can go to Tokyo soon!!

Hola Isabel, hajime mashite! Are you studying Japanese??
I can imagine how the traffic will be on that day... Asakusa has lots of events and festivals and the roads get full of people because of them.
Let me know if you got a chance to come to Tokyo!
