冬の写真 111.jpg
It's Naoto's Birthday today!
Naoto ( Kuririn is his nickname) is crazy about fighting sports
and practicing Jujutsu himself.
He is such a tough guy that we always depend on him though looks like gentle.

If you are interested in some fighting sports, please try to talk about it with him
or to beat him out with me♪Or just try your grappling techniques☆

Mauro, one of our guest from Italy, cooked risotto for us.
It was too yummy to stop eating...
He used radicchio for it. Radicchio is a vegetable looks like a small cabbage.

He told us that the secret of the daintiness is the HEART itself.
I totally agree with him ;)
I'm wondering whethermost of Italian guys can cook well like him...

Now, we have guests from Trinidad and Tobago and East Timor :)
Today, we got reservations from Israel and Ethiopia.

I saw people talking with pointing at globe at breakfast this morning.
They seemed telling about their countries to the others.
I love to know about the other countries☆

The Ueno★

saigosan1.jpgameyoko1.jpg
Mr. Saigoh, who has a dog as his constant companion, is famous politician from the end of Edo period to the beginning of Meiji period.
He is not taking a walk with his pet but is doing rabbits hunt.

The right picture was taken at Ameya-Yokocho(アメヤ横丁), which is called Ameyoko.
I felt like I was in a markets in Bangkok, Thailand.
You can get anything what you want at a low price and can do price negotiation ;)
Clerks are very friendly and talk to you casually, so don't hesitate to talk with them!

I recommend you to go there late afternoon because the price is going down.
There are also some museums, parks and zoo around Ueno area.

TOKYO BIG MARATHON 2007

It will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2007 and start from Tokyo Metropolitan Government and finish at Tokyo Big Sight. 25,000 selected lucky people can join it.

What is so exciting about it is... they will come to our place, Asakusa! In the latter stage of the race, they run through the Kaminarimon gate, only a few minutes walk away from our hostel. We are sure that we will go cheer for the runners with our guests on that day.
