Jinrikisha

IMG_0835.JPG
On Saturday, I strolled the Asakusa area with my friend.
Though I often go there with my family by car, it was my first time to take a walk the streets.
I felt something strange while walking there.
At the main area, like Nakamise-Dori, I could feel some traditional Japanese life but once I stepped in side roads, I found something the other Asian countries atmosphere.
It’s very interesting.

By the way, I saw a lot of Jinrikisha all over the town.
If you have enough time and money, I recommend you to take it.
Drivers (I’m not sure how are they called in English) are the specialist on Asakusa and entertainment, so you’ll have a good time for sure.

This picture is Jinrikisha of Ebisu-ya, one of the biggest jinrikisha groups. She told me that she is in training now.

try DORAYAKI if you go there!!

yep, they're "rickshaw drivers" in English.

Yeah!^^
I'm looking forward to come and be your guest!!!! I wanted to go to Tokyo since
I was maybe 12 years old!!!
And I think the time has come to enjoy this cool place!!!
I really thank you all that you have given us this good chance to stay in Tokyo cheaper!!! Maybe you can give me some tips where I can buy things like used books or J-rock stuff!!???
I hope we'll meet in August!!! :P

Hi,moof! Thanks a lot.

Hello, Mei.
We are really looking forward to seeing you in August.
What kind of used boooks and J-rock stuff do you want?

Thanks a lot Yuri for such a great traveling information. I wish to visit Japan again and of couse visit you and the hotel, it's looked nice place.

I know in Hong Kong the only rickshaw runner in the whole city was one more or less chained to the railings down near the Docks where you could take photos of you sitting in it.

This one though does look genuine and thus rocks! :D
