fortune slip
Do you know how to play fortune slip?
We call it OMIKUJI in Japanese.
How to play
?Put money into a coin box (usually it costs \100).
?Shake well and reverse the wooden box which is in front of the drawer.
?Get one tag and remember the number on it.
?Find the drawer which has your number on it. If it is writtten in Kanji, just ask someone around you.
?Open the drawer and pick one paper. It will tell you about your fortune in that year. It is written in English, too at Sensouji.
?If you think it says bad or unhappy things, you had better to bind the paper to a fence next to the drawer in order to be purified. On the other hand, if you get a good luck, just keep it in your purse. It will be a good souvenir, too.
You got it? Then let's try it!

Dear Patricia
Thank you for your comment.
We don't have any pick up service. But it is not so hard to get to our hostel.
From Narita airport, take Keisei line to Aoto station. Then, change trains for Keisei oshiage line or Subway Asakusa line to Asakusa station.
It will take about 72 mins, fare ¥1060.
You can ask stuff at the airport or call us if get lost.
I'm looking forward to seeing you!

Dear nienke
Sorry for late reply. You can buy metro pass (we call it Pass-Net) at every stations. It's from 1000yen and has no time limit, kind of prepaid card.
Why don't you check this website?

Hi, Renan.
Here is the answer for you.
"your gem has no flaw and it will glisten better when you polish" is a kind of proverb which means, your talent will be much sharpen if you make an effort.
In the simplest terms, all your effort will be rewarded.
Anyway, congratulation for your best luck!

hello, im staying in asakusa,(need to get off a asakusa station) and I am a bit scared of getting there from Narita airport. I know I need to go on Keisei line, do I get on the keisei express train or the one that stops all stations and do I need to get off at Ueno and swap? If I get off a Ueno will there be taxis to take me to Asakusa? How do I buy a ticket to get on the train? Is baggage OK to take on the train? Thanks
